Direct marketing training

Direct marketing is a powerful component of any marketing strategy, but the law surrounding direct marketing can be confusing – and the price for getting it wrong can be severe.

Direct marketing is one of the most common issues the Supervisory Authority (the Information Commissioner’s Office - the ICO) regularly deals with. On many occasions, it issues penalty fines to organisations for failing to carry out direct marketing in accordance with the data protection legislation.

Why attend?

This training session will discuss the requirements set out in the data protection legislation to enable organisations to avoid incurring penalty fines from the ICO.

Who should attend?

This training session is for those who work in an organisation’s marketing and communications team or, as part of their job, use direct marketing to assist with an organisation’s overall marketing strategy or are responsible for data protection compliance in this area.

Timings

Registration will be from 9.00am including breakfast. The session will run from 9.30am until 12.30pm including a short refreshment break and time for questions.
