How to be a good trustee - understanding your role and responsibilities

This virtual event will provide an introduction to new or prospective trustees, and a refresher for those who are already in post on their legal duties and responsibilities as trustees.

The purpose of the session will be to provide you with the tools you need:

  • To understand how your legal duties influence effective decision-making
  • To know what key Charity Commission guidance you should keep in mind
  • To avoid situations arising where trustees can become personally liable

There will be anecdotes and case studies to bring the session to life and an opportunity to share your own insights and ask questions.

Please register via the Book Your Place Button.
