Access to register of independent special schools and colleges

To aid parents, the DfE have recently published a comprehensive list of independent schools for students with special educational needs, including those approved under section 41 of the Children and Families Act. The list can be filtered by Local Authority or by the type of school. It is useful not only to parents but also to schools where a child may be identified as having special education needs.
