Large Offshore Wind Fabrication Plant Gets Green Light

Tyneside based OGN group have recently gained planning consent for a new marine energy fabrication plant in North Tyneside.

The new 36,000 sq.m facility, at Hadrian Yard, will manufacture the jacket foundations for offshore wind turbines including OGN’s new ‘Triton’ foundation design. The new facility represents investment of around £50M and has the potential to create 700 jobs.
