Teesside hydraulic engineering specialist opens Blyth base

Hydraulic engineering specialist IMH has opened a new base at Port of Blyth providing full onsite service and inspection work. Two companies that have worked closely with IMH, E&I control systems specialist MJR Controls and Ferschl a specialist hose supplier, will also join IMH at the base.

IMH was founded on Teesside over thirty-five years ago and now has experience of operating in fifty countries across the globe. As a result, the company has built up an international reputation in sectors including oil and gas, subsea, offshore and onshore renewables, nuclear and automotive.

IMH has worked on projects such as the design and manufacture of an innovative Linkspan Restraint System, and has also worked for major marine operators such as Allseas on Pioneering Spirit – the world’s largest pipelay and construction vessel.

The business also provides service and system development for jack up vessels and manufacturing services across a range of marine applications.
