Aim 4 IPO Event – 14 Oct 2010

In October we ran an event for businesses considering joining AIM as part of their strategy for growth.

Chaired by Andrew Davison, Partner at Muckle LLP and member of The London Stock exchange Regional Advisory Group.  Other speakers included:

Mark Fahy of the London Stock Exchange who talked about AIM and the ways in which it has helped so many companies.

Katy Mitchell, from stockbrokers WH Ireland, who explained what investors look for from a company joining AIM, as well as the role of the Nominated Adviser and Broker.

Peter Robinson and Philip Clare from Muckle LLP who gave an overview of the legal process and gave some practical pointers.

Raymond Wolfson, CEO of Leeds University spin-out Getech who talked about the process from the company’s perspective and what life has been like since Getech’s admission to AIM.
