Shortlist success for Muckle at Insider Dealmaker Awards

We’re excited to announce we’ve been shortlisted for nine awards at the Insider Dealmaker Awards 2024. 

It is great to see so many of our client’s deals celebrated in the nominations this year.

Corporate Law Firm of the Year

Our team has secured a nomination for Corporate Law Firm of the Year, having won this category eight times previously.

Corporate Lawyer of the Year

Corporate partner Stephanie Brown has been shortlisted, having worked on a number of significant deals across the qualifying period, including the sale of Sweetdreams to SugaRich (shortlisted in the Deal of the Year (sub £5m category)

Deal of the Year (sub £5m)

We are delighted to see four deals nominated in the Deal of Year sub £5m category, including the acquisition of Cloud Cover IT by Aspire Technology Solutions, the acquisition of Dermatronics by SkioBioTheapeutics plc, Investment in Newcells Biotech and the sale of Sweetdreams to SugaRich.

Deal of the Year (£5m-£20m)

It is great to see Hays Travel’s acquisition of Miles Away recognised in the Deal of the Year (£5m-£20m) category.

Deal of the Year (£20m+)

We are very proud of the two deals that have been nominated in the over £20m category, the investment in iamproperty by Perwyn (exit for LDC) and the acquisition of Total Foodservice Solutions by Kitwave.

This year’s winners – including Dealmaker of the Year, sponsored by Muckle LLP – will be announced at the annual North East Dealmaker’s Award Dinner, set to take place at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead, on 26 September 2024.
