Funding boost for North East businesses
North East businesses looking to grow their business are being encouraged to apply for grant funding as part of a new campaign from North East Growth Hub.
The North East Growth Hub, delivered by the North East Local Enterprise Partnership, has already helped over 34,000 North East businesses with a range of funding grants, loans and business support programmes.
Among the business support programmes available, Made Smarter Adoption North East provides small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses in the North East LEP area with access up to £4,000 in grant funding to help your business introduce new digital solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
The programme, backed by world-renowned businesses and the UK government connects manufacturers to digital tools, innovations and skills that can transform the way they work.
Other grant funding opportunities include:
- BREEZ – Business Renewables Energy Efficiency Sunderland - offers eligible SMEs a flexible approach to cutting their energy bills and their carbon emissions
- North East SME Innovation Programme – delivered by the North East Business and Innovation Centre, the programme is designed to help SMEs realise their innovation potential.
- Innovation SuperNetwork Grant - provides a limited number of grants to help innovative SMEs in the North East LEP area bring new products and services to market or innovative processes to their businesses.
- GOV.UK Defence and Security Accelerator - funds exploitable innovation to support UK defence and security quickly and effectively, and support UK prosperity.
