GeNErosity - the North East's festival of philanthropy and giving - has launched with a flourish. 300 guests attended the launch event at Newcastle's Discovery Museum on 7 November, and festival, which has been organised by the Community Foundation Tyne and Wear and Newcastle University, will run for three weeks.

What's happening?

Throughout November there will be 50 events from Berwick down to Teesside to celebrate what philanthropy has achieved for North East England.

We are the gold sponsor for the festival, and are hosting our own event - Game-changing CSR ideas for businesses - on 22 November.
