Muckle recognised for its commitment to outstanding employment standards

We’re delighted to be accredited by the Advanced Good Work Pledge for another two years.
The North of Tyne Combined Authority’s Good Work Pledge framework was designed to improve employment standards in the North East.
The framework, launched in 2020, helps employers identify what ‘good employment’ looks like. It aims to acknowledge companies for their commitment to valuing employees, promoting health and wellbeing, communicating with staff and giving them representation, having a balanced workforce and demonstrating social responsibility.
A focus on wellbeing in the workplace
Being a good employer and looking after our people are vital to us. We’ve been awarded the Advanced Good Work Pledge for our dedication to the wellbeing of our people. Through our ESG strategy, firm-wide initiatives and commitment to ongoing improvement, we have been consistently recognised for our work around promoting wellbeing in the workplace.
As well as the Good Work Pledge accreditation, we were also named the ‘Best Place to Work’ in both 2023 and 2024 at the North East Business Awards and ‘Most Inspiring Employer’ at the North East Chamber of Commerce’s Inspiring Female Awards in 2022 and 2023. We also hold Investors in People (IIP) Platinum status.
