Heart of the Community finalist for the fifth year in a row

We are very pleased to announce we have been shortlisted, for the fifth year in a row, for the Tyneside and Northumberland 'Heart of the Community Award' at the North East Business Awards 2016.

This a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment from our people in helping the communities in which we live and work. Read more on how we are being a responsible business.

Building on previous nominations

In 2015 we were shortlisted for this award also, as well as the 'Company of the Year Award' and the 'Green Award'.

We won the 'Heart of the Community Award 2014' for the Tyneside and Northumberland regions.   It is an award that is aligned closely to our belief in the importance of being a responsible business and it reflects what has been done by a huge number of people across the firm.

This was the third year in a row that we had won this award for the Northumberland and Tyneside region.  We won the overall 'Heart of the Community Award' in 2012 for all regions across the North East and we were also short-listed in the 'CSR and Environmental' category for the Northumberland and Tyneside region in the North East Business Awards 2013.

The regional awards will be held on 10th March 2016 at Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park where we will be up against some stiff competition.
