Inspiring success as Muckle is named top employer for women

We’re celebrating after being recognised by the North East Chamber of Commerce for our inclusive people-first culture with a win at the Inspiring Female Awards.

The event, which was held today in Newcastle saw women from across the region’s business sector given top honours. We were delighted to be named the Most inspiring employer (large business) for firm-wide initiatives that allow women opportunities to reach their full potential as well as a strong representation of women in senior leadership roles.

Jason Wainwright, managing partner said: “We work hard to attract women to our business and to the wider sector and we have some amazing female role models in the business. With 50% of the firm’s partners and directors being women, which is above the national average and 56% of our legal departments being headed up by female partners, we believe we are already leading the way.”
