Top in tech, media and telecoms at Northern Powerhouse Awards

Our expertise in technology, media and telecoms (TMT) has been recognised with a win at the Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards.

The awards, which took place at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds last night (13th March), saw us take home the prize of ‘Law Firm of the Year: TMT’.

The awards aim to recognise the lawyers, law firms and in-house legal departments setting the pace in the region, providing a platform to celebrate their achievements over the last 18 months.

The shortlists and winners are decided through in-depth research carried out by Legal 500 UK, which includes feedback from our clients.

Regional expertise

We are the only law firm in the region that offers specialist music and media litigation expertise.

George Festing, who heads up our media and entertainment team, has been recognised on a UK-wide level for this specialist work by Legal 500 since 2011. Alex Craig, practice head of commercial, is known regionally for her work in this area and is the key contact for several high-profile clients.
