People-first culture at Muckle recognised at the North East Business Awards

We’re hoping for two wins in a row for the annual North East Business Awards (NEBA) after winning our regional heat for Best Place to Work (Northumberland & Tyneside).

The awards, which recognise regional businesses for their contributions to our local communities, announced all sub-regional winners today: Northumberland & Tyneside; Durham, Sunderland & South Tyneside; and Teesside.

All winners will now be competing for best in region at the grand final on 3 October at Hardwick Hall.

Best Place to Work

Looking after our people is key to our success, and we are proud to have our people-focused culture recognised externally.

Most recently, we were awarded North East Chamber of Commerce (NEECC) Inspiring Females (Most Inspiring Employer) for the second year running, and were also shortlisted for the NEECC Business Awards 2024 in the People and Work Business of the Year category.

Also in the running for the north east's overall Best Place to Work award are AR Power (Durham, Sunderland & South Tyneside) and razorblue (Teesside).
