Solicitor qualifies into corporate finance team at Muckle

Sophie Cragg has qualified as a solicitor into our corporate finance team.

Sophie joined Muckle in September 2022 on the graduate training programme, where she gained experience in the banking and restructuring, corporate and real estate teams. 

Prior to joining Muckle, Sophie (who is originally from Lincolnshire) studied for a three-year law degree at Newcastle University before moving back home in 2019 to save up to go travelling.

During this time, she joined a legal graduate scheme with North East Lincolnshire Council while also studying for her Legal Practice Course (LPC) part-time online. 

Sophie said: “From the first seat of my training contract, I knew straight away that I enjoyed working on corporate transactions, and it is great to have qualified into a team that offers such a collaborative and friendly culture, alongside excellent commercial credentials. 

“For me, the recruitment process was all online due to the pandemic, but as soon as I started at Muckle it was obvious that the firm completely lives up to its reputation of having an approachable and supportive working environment.

"I am really excited to continue my career here and contribute to the continued success of both the corporate team and the firm in general”.
