Muckle talent recognised with two award nominations for young lawyers

We are proud that two of our star team members have been shortlisted in the Insider North East Young Professionals Awards 2023. Hayden Richards, associate, is in the running for Young Lawyer of the Year. Newly qualified solicitor Ben Evans, who recently became one of the North East’s first solicitor apprentices to qualify via the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship (NESA) programme, is up for Apprentice of the Year. 

Both lawyers work in our corporate team. Anthony Evans, partner and head of corporate, said: “It’s fantastic to see Hayden and Ben recognised for their work with these nominations. They both go above and beyond for their clients and colleagues every day. As a firm, we are immensely proud to see them both develop their careers and be recognised at the forefront of regional talent.”

Award-winning year

The nominations come on the back of a fantastic twelve months for the corporate team, with wins at Insider’s Dealmaker Awards and being named Experian’s ‘Most Active Dealmaker’ in 2022.

The Insider North East Young Professionals Awards showcases the most accomplished and talented rising stars across the North East in a range of professional categories who are 35 or under.

The winners will be decided by a panel of judges and announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 7th December 2023, due to be held at the Hilton Hotel Newcastle Gateshead.
