About Lauryn
Lauryn is a solicitor apprentice in the banking and restructuring team and assists our borrower and lender clients on general banking and security arrangements.
Having joined Muckle in 2018, Lauryn also has experience with the Muckle Real Estate team, where she assisted on a range of commercial property transactions including sales, purchases and leases and property finance transactions.
Lauryn was shortlisted in the 'Apprentice of the Year' category at the North East Chamber of Commerce 'Inspiring Female Awards' 2022, and was shortlisted for 'Young Apprentice of the Year' at the Insider North East Young Professionals Awards 2022.
Now in the penultimate year of the apprenticeship programme and having completed her degree and SQE 1 exams, Lauryn is currently working towards the SQE 2 exams to obtain qualified solicitor status.
Lauryn has become an invaluable and trusted extension of my team and manages relationships with colleagues particularly well. I am continuously impressed by the level at which she performs and her ability to learn quickly and deal with complex areas of law in order to provide a quick-turnaround service for internal clients.
She works closely with our in-house legal team, who consistently provide great feedback around Lauryn’s thoughtful and helpful way of approaching big tasks in a way that makes life easier for a busy in-house lawyer.
