Ryan is a paralegal in our Sports, Education and Charities team, assisting partners with a wide range of work for schools, academies, sports bodies, clubs, charities, CASCs and CICs.

He works on academy conversions and trust transfers, and has worked with a wide range of schools, and single- and multi-academy trusts, including those with a faith or religious character.

Ryan’s knowledge of the Education sector allows him to assist schools and trusts with general commercial queries, sector-specific data protection concerns and governance and structure support.

Ryan also has experience handling charity applications, and can assist the set up and incorporation of charitable companies with Companies House, and the associated registration with the Charity Commission. He regularly reviews governance documents including articles of association, charity constitutions and trust deeds.
