Deal of the Year (below £10m) – Acquisition of Stirling Solutions by Mandata Group

Deal of the Year (above £10m) – Kitwave IPO

Matthew Walsh and Sarah Forster were shortlisted in the Lawyer of the Year category with Sarah going on to win the award.

The finalists have been announced for the North East Business Awards 2021 and we’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted in two categories.

We’ve been recognised for our community work as well as our new technology development with nominations in the ‘Heart of the Community’ and ‘Innovation and Technology’ categories.

We are delighted that Oasis Community Housing – the fantastic homelessness support charity – have awarded us their Platinum Shared Value Award

The accolade acknowledges ‘platinum level support for the mission and work of Oasis’, in its efforts to reignite hope for those facing homelessness.

We were delighted to be one of just 3 finalists shortlisted for ‘CSR Team of the Year’ at the UK Third Sector Business Charity Awards, alongside household names ITV and Aviva. Judges were impressed by our ‘well-rounded, clearly laid out corporate responsibility strategy’ and said Muckle is ‘a great example of a medium sized firm making an impact in the local community’.

We are delighted to announce that corporate partner Philip Clare has been recognised as one of the UK’s ‘most daring, innovative and creative’ solicitors by being named in the The Lawyer’s UK-wide hot 100 list.

Judges were impressed with our work over the last 12 months, which has included advising on the 1.75-acre Newgate Centre redevelopment, Tynexe Commercial’s 175,000 sqft office development, and the 20 year lease agreement for Tor Coatings’ new head office at Follingsby Park, Gateshead.
